TRAVEL INFORMATION

Ischia is an island in Naples gulf.
You can reach it from Naples by hydrofoil and ferry services: the former takes 40'-50', the latter 70'-90'.

If you travel by car, you have to take a ferry; they leave from Naples' port
(Molo Beverello) and Pozzuoli's port.

If you get to Naples by train or by plane, you can take a ferry or an hydrofoil; the latter leaves from Naples, (Molo Beverello or Mergellina's pier).

How to reach Molo Beverello

From Naples' International Airport (Capodichino):
you can take a taxi (that's a 20' route which costs about € 20,00), or a bus of Alibus service (they leave every 30', the journey takes about 30' and costs € 3,00).

From Naples' train station (Piazza Garibaldi):
you can take a taxi (that's a 10' route which costs about € 10,00), or an ANM bus (it takes about 20'; tickets aren't sold on board, so you have to buy them in the station at € 0,77).

From highway:
exit Napoli Via Marittima - Piazza Municipio.

How to reach Mergellina's pier

From Naples' International Airport (Capodichino):
you can take a taxi (that's a 30' route which costs about € 30,00).

From Naples' train station (Piazza Garibaldi):
you can take a taxi (that's a 15' route which costs about € 15,00); you can reach Mergellina station by underground, but then it takes a 5' walk to get from there to Mergellina's pier.

How to reach Pozzuoli's port

From highway:
exit Napoli, take bypass and exit at Pozzuoli, Via Campana. Then follow directions to Pozzuoli's port.
